2010: Re-Dedication of the Storm Family Cemetery, Stormville NY

August 24, 2010 § Leave a comment

These photographs were recently submitted by Linda Archer who is a Kingston resident and long time AME Zion Church community member. Linda and her husband  Vicente were both fortunate to witness the re-dedication of the Storm Family Cemetery in Stormville, NY on Sunday, August 22nd 2010.

Linda writes, “We attended, it was very moving and we are all very blessed to have such amazing people to have paved our path. There was about 140 in attendance and what shined through was the joy and smiles rather than somber moments. We had the opportunity to meet Lorraine Roberts, an inspiring lady, and she is looking forward to our September meeting. Here are a few pictures we took. We know when all of the community comes together these are the kind of wonderful results that can happen”.
